Small-Sized Newark, NJ Stoneware Advertising Jug, attributed to the Fulper Pottery, Flemington, NJ, late 19th or early 20th century, Bristol slip glazed stoneware shoulder jug featuring the cobalt advertising "Julius Solomon, / Springfield Ave, / Newark, / N.J." Provenance: Tom McCandless Collection, Hopewell, NJ. Discoloration to surface. Three nicks to shoulder molding. Horizontal line visible only on underside of handle. Two spout chips. H 9".
