Sixteen-Gallon Stoneware Jar, Stenciled "WILLIAMS & REPPERT / GREENSBORO, PA," circa 1885, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder, semi-rounded rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with freehand stripes and vining, stenciled flowers and flourishes, and a brushed 16 underscored by stripes. As-made condition with two large, glazed-over handle chips. H 24".
