Stripe-Decorated Stoneware Canning Jar with Tin Lid, Western PA origin, circa 1875, cylindrical jar with sloping tooled shoulder and rounded rim with wax sealer interior, the front decorated with five brushed cobalt stripes. Includes tin canning jar lid. Provenance: Tom McCandless, Hopewell, NJ. Near mint condition with a minor nick on interior of rim. H 7 3/4".
