Unusual One-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Stenciled Rose Decoration, Stenciled "POTTERY," Western PA origin, circa 1875, cylindrical jug with rounded shoulder and narrow spout decorated with an elaborate stenciled rose design above the word "POTTERY". Spout chips. Three salt drips on surface. Crazing to underside and base. Contact mark on side with piece of kiln furniture attached. H 12".
