Unusual Spongeware Pitcher, American, possibly Midwestern, late 19th century, wheel-thrown, tankard-form pitcher with applied pulled handle, the surface deeocrated with heavy streak of dark cobalt over a grayish-white ground. In-the-firing bloated spots to surface. H 8 1/2".
