Half-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Leaf Decoration, attributed to the Remmey Pottery, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1865, ovoid jar with rounded foot and tooled midsection, decorated around the midsection with three cobalt fan-shaped flowers extending from leafy stems. Crazing to underside which does not extend through to interior. Small chip to exterior of rim. Some fry to cobalt. H 7 1/2".
