One-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Bold Cobalt Swag Decoration, attributed to David Parr, Jr. or Keesee & Parr, Richmond, VA, circa 1860, cylindrical jar with rounded shoulder and semi-squared rim, decorated with four groups of bright cobalt swags over a light gray ground. Excellent color. As-made condition with a small stone ping on one side. H 10".
