Salt-Glazed Stoneware Jug with Merchant Tag, Northeastern U.S. origin, circa 1875, cylindrical one-gallon jug with sloped shoulder and rounded spout. Antique tag reads "T.H. WHEELER CO. / Commission Merchants, / Clinton Market, BOSTON. / From A.W. Bachelder / East Winthrop / Maine." Mint condition with some staining to surface. H 11 3/4".
