Two-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Cream Jar, Stamped "N. White. Utica," New York State origin, circa 1830, ovoid jar with tall collar and applied lug handles, decorated with a stylized plant or wreath design flanking the number "2". Some small flakes at base on side of jar. Chipping to base. Vertical separation from rim on interior, which is not visible on exterior. H 10 1/2".
