Lot of Two Early Stoneware Jugs, Northeastern U.S., circa 1830, an ovoid jug, impressed "STEDMAN & SEYMOUR / NEW-HAVEN," CT origin, with cobalt highlights to the mark and the ends of the handles, paired with an unmarked ovoid jug with decorated handle ends. New-Haven jug with some in-the-firing flaws and a reglued 1 7/8" flake off underside at edge. Unmarked jug with horizontal crack in handle, a few base chips, and a 1 3/4" Y-shaped line on underside, extending 3 1/2" up side of jug, where it also forms a Y. H (of unmarked jug) 11 3/4".
