One-Gallon Stoneware Cream Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "SIPE, NICHOLS & CO. / Williamsport, PA," circa 1875, ovoid jar with tooled shoulder and flattened rim, decorated with brushed cobalt cone-shaped flower extending from a leafy stem. 1 1/8" rim chip with a 5" crack descending from it. Two other much smaller rim chips. Base chip. Iron spot near base. Light staining to surface. H 8".
