Two-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Elaborate Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "SIPE, NICHOLS & CO. / Williamsport, Pa.," circa 1875, ovoid jug with squared spout and applied handle, decorated with a large brushed cobalt design of a cone-shaped flower extending from a heavily-leafed stem. Professionally restored handle. Small spout nick and glazed-over spout nick. H 14".
