Rare Stoneware Canning Jar, Incised "T. Conaty Maker," probably Ohio origin, circa 1850, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder, tapered neck, and large, squared rim, the surface covered in a salt glaze. Incised in print "T. Conaty. Maker," along with an incised "6". Likely used as a fruit or oyster jar. Excellent condition with a short line in rim and wear to interior of rim. H 11".
