Redware Vase with Applied Floral Decoration, American, late 19th century, cylindrical vase with tooled foot and shoulder, flaring rim, and recessed underside, decorated with an applied clay flower, composed of a daisy-like blossom extending from a stem with two different styles of leaves. Vase covered in a light brownish wash. Minor wear to base and decoration. Small U-shaped hairlines at base. What appear to be other dark hairlines at base are actually trails of brownish wash or stain. H 6 1/2".
