Rare One-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Raised-Wing Bird Decoration, Stamped "BINGHAMTON. / N.Y.," N. White & Co., circa 1870, cylindrical jug with rounded shoulder and spout, decorated with a brushed cobalt bird with raised wing, perched on a slip-trailed branch or nest. Excellent decoration on a desirable small-sized jug. As-made condition with some in-the-firing separation lines at base. H 11".
