Five-Gallon Double-Handled Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "WHITES UTICA," New York State origin, circa 1870, large-sized cylindrical jug with rounded shoulder, semi-squared rim, and open handles, decorated with a brushed cobalt morning glory vine design. Desirable form. Essentially as-made condition. Some fry and scratches to cobalt. Small glazed-over base chip. H 16 3/4".
