Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar, attributed to Richard C. Remmey, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1875, cylindrical jar with rounded shoulder, decorated with a series of brushed cobalt leaves. A few rim chips. Base chip. Bloated spot on one side. Hairlines on underside extending onto base area. H 9 1/4".
