Four-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar, Stamped "E. FOWLER / BEAVER, PA," circa 1870, semi-ovoid jar with tooled shoulder, pronounced rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with a large cobalt fuschia design and the number 4, brushed over slip-coated clay. Mint condition. H 14 1/4".
