Three-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar, Stamped "HALL & THOMAS / SPRINGFIELD, O.," mid 19th century, ovoid jar with tooled shoulder, squared rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with brushed cobalt double-stemmed floral design with two flowers flanking a wavy stem. 5 1/2" x 2 1/2" broken and poorly reglued section under one handle, with a flake missing. Approximately 6" curving crack extending from base on front, and continuing onto underside. Chips to one handle. Rim chips. H 12 1/2".
