Stoneware Pitcher with Folky Flower Head Decoration, Midwestern origin, probably Ohio, circa 1860, highly ovoid pitcher with flared collar and applied strap handle, decorated with a bright cobalt sunflower or daisy decoration. Handle decorated with cobalt spots. Rim and spout chips. 1" hairline in spout. H 8 1/2".
