One-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Crock, NJ origin, circa 1880, cylindrical crock with tooled shoulder, rounded rim, and applied lug handles, decorated on the front and back with a cobalt hanging tulip design with curled stem. Brushed cobalt around handles. Very faint lines at base on one side, extending onto underside, which do not extend through to interior. Small stone ping on interior. H 7 1/4".
