Two-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Bird Decoration, attributed to the Fulper Bros. Pottery, Flemington, NJ, circa 1880, cylindrical jug with rounded shoulder and tall spout, decorated with a slip-trailed cobalt design of crested bird perched on a stylized branch. Base chip and glazed-over base chip. Dryness to surface. Discoloration on reverse. Salt drip on reverse. Small chip on interior of spout. Glazed-over nick on exterior of spout. Small handle chip. H 14".
