One-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Pitcher, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1875, with bulbous body, flared collar with tooled rim, and applied strap handle, decorated with a brushed cobalt leaf design on the front and sides. Collar decorated with brushed cobalt swags on each side and flanking the spout. Mint, as-made condition with a half-inch salt drip at base on reverse. H 11".
