Rare Stoneware Crock, Stenciled "GEO. T. HOLLY & CO. / NORFOLK, VA.," Ohio origin, circa 1875, straight-sided crock with rounded rim, stenciled with rare Norfolk, VA advertising in cobalt. Overall style of the jar indicates it was likely made in Ohio. Three sealed vertical cracks, measuring 6 1/4", 6", and 5", which extend partway onto underside. H 9 1/8".
