Three-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Crock, attributed to David Parr, Jr., Richmond, VA, circa 1865, straight-sided crock with tooled shoulder, squared rim, and applied lug handles, decorated on the front and back with a brushed cobalt tulip design. Two tiny rim nicks. Small chips to shoulder molding. Light wear to ends of both handles. Small stone ping on one side. Small base chip and 1 1/2" base chip, both of which may have occurred in the making. H 14 1/4".
