Three-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Flourish, Midwestern origin, circa 1875, straight-sided crock with tooled shoulder and applied lug handles, decorated with a slip-trailed cobalt "3" underscored by a swirling flourish. A few tiny glazed-over rim chips. 1 1/4" vertical line at base, which does not go through to interior. Some spots of staining. H 10 1/4".
