Six-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Bee Stinger Decoration, Midwestern origin, possibly Red Wing, MN, circa 1880, straight-sided crock with tooled shoulder, rounded rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with a slip-trailed cobalt 6 underscored by a "bee stinger" design. Near mint condition with a tiny nick or stone ping on end of one handle. H 15 3/4".
