Glazed Redware Jar with Rouletted Decoration, attributed to Jacob Heart, Chambersburg, PA, circa 1840, straight-sided jar with unusual ribbed bands along body, decorated with raised, rouletted design around the shoulder of a vine bearing leaves. Surface decorated with streaks of manganese and covered in a clear lead glaze. Chips to rim and base. 1 1/2" in-the-firing touch mark to shoulder. H 7 1/4".
