One-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar, Stamped "COWDEN & WILCOX," Harrisburg, PA origin, circa 1865, straight-sided jar with rounded shoulder, applied lug handles, and flared rim, decorated with a two-stemmed flowering plant design. 2 1/2" Y-shaped line at shoulder, which does not go through to interior. Small chips on interior of rim. 1" chip at edge on underside. H 9 1/2".
