Rare Two-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Pitcher, Stamped "W.H. LEHEW & CO / STRASBURG, VA," circa 1870, ovoid pitcher with splayed base and rounded rim, decorated around the midsection and collar with a series of cobalt swags and hanging flowers. Desirable large size and strong decoration. 3" Y-shaped crack at base, continuing onto underside and forming another Y there. two base chips. Three rim chips. H 13 3/4".
