Very Rare "HARDEN / PALATINE W. VA," Stoneware Chick Waterer with Cobalt Stenciling, circa 1875, beehive form with attached saucer and rainbow handle, decorated with stenciled designs and the words "HARDEN / PALATINE W. VA." Highly unusual form in Western PA and West Virginia stoneware. Crack on reverse and some spider cracks on front. Chips to saucer. Height 12".
