Redware Rocking Horse Bank, probably Pennsylvania, 19th century, hand-modeled figure of a rocking horse w/ incised details and the name "Dobbin" surrounded by incised daisies on one side, and the words "Save a tithe" on the opposite side. Excellent condition. Length 5 1/2". Provenance: Christie"s Sale for The Seamen"s Bank for Savings, March 13, 1991, Lot # 180. Ex-Collection Bill Bertoia.
