Half-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Elaborate Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "H. MYERS," attributed to Henry Remmey, Sr. or Jr. at the Henry Myers's Baltimore Stoneware Manufactory, Baltimore, MD, circa 1825, cylindrical jar with footed base, rounded shoulder, and squared rim, brush-decorated with garland surrounding the shoulder bearing three large tulips. Essentially as-made condition with in-the-firing contact marks to top of rim and a few small in-the-firing flaws to base, including an in-the-firing base chip and ping. H 8 3/4".
