Rare Stoneware Wax Sealer, Stamped "S.C MILBURN / SDS," Alexandria, VA origin, circa 1860, straight-sided jar with rounded shoulder and wax sealer rim, impressed with Stephen Milburn maker's mark along with the initials, "SDS," on the shoulder. Provenance: Crocker Farm, Inc., November 1, 2008, lot 245. A 1 1/2" in-the-making separation on underside. A few very tiny nicks to interior of rim. H 7 3/4".
