Fine One-Quart Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1840, ovoid pitcher with tooled rim, brush-decorated around the midsection with a swag-and-hanging-flower motif. Swag decoration to collar. Brushed cobalt highlights to handle terminals. Excellent condition with minor base chipping, water glass staining to interior, and a few extremely minor in-the-firing flaws. H 7".
