Iron-Decorated Stoneware Vase, Middle TN origin, circa 1880-1920, ovoid vase, with flaring foot and rim, featuring two vertical handles at the shoulder with pointed lower terminals and unusual scrolled upper terminals. Surface dipped in an iron solution under a clear salt glaze, with areas assuming a yellowish-green color in the firing. Provenance: Carole Wahler Collection. Very nice condition with some surface wear to body and minor nicks and wear to rim. H 10 1/4".
