Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Spaniel, probably TX origin, fourth quarter 19th century, molded figure of a spaniel on slab base, decorated with sponged cobalt splotches throughout and highlights to the face. Sporadic Bristol slip glaze to surface. Base chips. Wear to nose. Other spots of glaze loss. H 7 1/2".
