One-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar with Huntington, WV Advertising, Western PA origin, circa 1880, semi-ovoid jar with tooled shoulder and semi-rounded rim with inner ledge for lid, featuring the stenciled advertising, "HAGAN BROS., / DEALERS IN / STOVES AND / HARDWARE. / HUNTINGTON, W.VA." Excellent condition with some mottling to clay, minor traces of old white paint, and some brown residue to proper right side. H 10".
