Glazed Stoneware Fluted Pot, attributed to Cheever Meaders, Cleveland, GA, Signed and Dated "C M / 1956," 1956, flaring, ovoid pot with crimped rim, the surface covered in a streaky, whitish glaze over reddish clay. Underside inscribed with black magic marker, "C M / 1956." Excellent condition with minor rim wear, and a 1 1/2" firing crack to underside, not visible on interior. Provenance: Frank W. White Collection. Excellent, essentially as-made condition. H 5 1/4" ; Diam. (at rim) 9".
