Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware Mug with Applied Kiln Brick, Signed "AM," Arie Meaders, Cleveland, GA, circa 1956-1969, slightly-flaring mug with olive-colored, alkaline-glazed surface, including an adhered piece of kiln brick that fell atop the vessel during the firing. A small piece of the mug's rim is adhered to the interior base, damaged incurred when the brick made contact with the vessel. Underside incised with Arie Meaders's initials. Provenance: Frank W. White Collection. As-made condition. H 4 3/4".
