Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware Jar, GA origin, second quarter 19th century, rotund jar with thin, semi-rounded rim and applied arched-lug handles with distinctive angular terminals, the surface covered in an olive-brown alkaline glaze. Excellent condition with a small rim chip and traces old blue paint to surface. Rim misshapen. H 13 1/2".
