Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware Jug, Crawford County, GA origin, late 19th century, semi-ovoid jug with cylindrical spout and rounded mouth, the surface covered in a streaky green alkaline glaze. A long, thin horizontal crack at midsection. Otherwise excellent condition with some typical, minor in-the-firing flaws. H 10 1/2".
