Miniature Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware Jug, Catawba Valley, NC origin, fourth quarter 19th century, ovoid jar with flaring spout, the surface decorated with elaborate incised crossing punctate designs and wavy incising to the shoulder, the surface covered in a dark-brown alkaline glaze. Small in-the-firing base chips. Handle reglued. H 3 1/8".
