Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware Jug, Upstate SC origin, fourth quarter 19th century, ovoid jug with flaring, flattened spout and grooved strap handle, the surface covered in a glossy gray-green alkaline glaze. Excellent condition with some minor chipping around bottom edge of jug. H 12 1/4".
