Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware Jar, Upstate SC origin, late 19th century, tapering jar with applied lug handles and flared rim, the surface covered in a streaky olive-colored alkaline glaze. Provenance: Originally found at a house sale in Prosperity, SC. A chip, nick, and wear to one handle. Minor wear to opposing handle. A few rim chips. Light surface wear to body. H 9 1/2".
