Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware Jug, probably Thomas Owenby Pottery, Union District, SC, circa 1860, ovoid jug with coved spout molding and grooved strap handle, the surface covered in a mottled grayish alkaline glaze with glossy olive runs. Excellent, essentially as-made condition. H 11 3/4".
