Glazed Stoneware Pitcher, attributed to the Decker Pottery, Washington County, TN, circa 1872-1910, squat-shaped, ovoid pitcher with footed base, tooled collar, and semi-squared rim, the surface dipped in brownish Albany-slip-type glaze. Exhibited: Tennessee Turned, Earthenware and Stoneware Made in East Tennessee 1800-1900, Museum of East Tennessee History, May 16-October 30, 2011. Provenance: In her notes, Wahler states the following: "This was Mrs. Hileman's. I got it from Namuni." Excellent, essentially as-made condition. H 6 5/8".
