Two Pieces of Salt-Glazed Stoneware, Albany, NY origin, circa 1825, a one-gallon handled bowl with freehand cobalt "1" and cobalt-highlighted maker's mark, stamped "TYLER & DILLON / ALBANY;" paired with a two-gallon milkpan with cobalt-highlighted maker's mark and capacity mark, stamped "DILLON & PORTER / ALBANY." Provenance: William Bouck Collection. Tyler & Dillon bowl with a few minor rim chips and a thin line from rim on front. Dillon & Porter milkpan with a crack in underside extending up side of vessel, a short hairline to spout, a chip to spout, a thin crack with minor chipping from rim on reverse, a small base chip, and some staining. H (of taller) 8 1/4".
