Two Pieces of Stoneware, American, 19th and 20th centuries, a one-gallon salt-glazed advertising jug with the slip-trailed cobalt inscription, "A. Baetzold. / Buffalo / N.Y.," stamped "CO-OPERATIVE / POTTERY CO. / LYONS, N.Y.," fourth quarter 19th century; paired with a Bristol-slip-glazed chicken waterer, marked in cobalt "RED WING / POULTRY DRINKING FOUNT / AND / BUTTERMILK FEEDER," early 20th century. Jug with a spout chip and minor fry to cobalt. Waterer with a 2 1/4" crack ascending from hole at base and lines to top. H (of jug) 11".
