Three-Gallon Stoneware Cobalt-Stenciled Stoneware Churn, Stenciled "A.P. Donaghho / Parkersburg W.V.," circa 1880, semi-ovoid churn with tooled shoulder, flared collar, and applied lug handles, featuring A.P. Donaghho maker's stenciling above a stenciled "3" flanked by stylized foliate stenciling. A small chip to proper left handle. Minor chips and wear around inner rim for lid. Minor chipping to molding at base of collar. A minor in-the-firing ping to front. A small piece of adhered clay to underside. H 14 3/4".
